JUSTIN'S WINE PICKS AUGUST 13, 2013

Wines released for sale in Ontario on Saturday, August 17, 2013.

Well folks it looks like the Pinot Noir truck rolled into the LCBO this month. Like the last release a variety of extremely fine Pinots is again offered for your dining pleasure. These wines are extraordinarily food friendly and versatile, and will age well.
French whites and reds are also found in abundance here.
Add to the mix a smattering of quality from other areas and you should be able to top up the cellar nicely.

Most Excellent Books To Read:
Antarctica by Gabrielle Walker. Extremely interesting depiction of the Continent!
Bryant & May And The Invisible Code by Christopher Fowler. Two Old Detectives in London messing around with the occult and mystery. Latest in a series that I absolutely love!
The Year Without Summer 1816 by William K. Klingaman. Mount Tambora in the South Pacific blows it's top and the world gets cold and stormy. A remarkable history.
